The décor is a trifle grimy, where plastic chairs are laid out in the market area. But Salad Chef's USP is the interesting salads served in generous servings that you can take to your car and consume with glee. Of the salads try the try the Chicken Curry , the Spanish, the Mixed Veg Thousand Island, and the Pasta 'n' Cheese - all filling, relatively fresh and quite delish. 11:00 am to 11:45 pm Meal for two : Rs 700 A cute pun on the Turkish Capital looks a little out of place since the menu consists mainly of Indian, Tandoori and Chinese with a little bit of mezze platters, falafel and doner kebabs wandering in. Neither the décor nor the music is Turkish but that is hardly a problem if you are looking to have a quick and cheap booze session with friends in a nice setting. You could always try out a sheesha if you are missing the Turkish connection. Their selection of drinks is well represented and reasonably priced (cocktails Rs 200-250, liquor going from Rs 140 to Rs 300 depending on the brand). Thanks to their extensive Happy Hours, they become quite a steal. With their wide range of snacks (Rs 220 for veg starters going up to about Rs 350-375 for main courses and platters), a popular hang out. While the veg/non-veg platters (*dal *being a tad bit bland) are only for a famished soul, a potion of fajitas served with pita bread is worth a shot ifyou aren't looking to tuck in a proper meal.
